Shit weather hits, here, have some spray tan

Boxes of spray tan were being handed out free of charge in the quad last Wednesday.

A table was setup in the quad around lunch time with signs proclaiming “Ladies and gents, free fake tan.”

Salient understands that Campus Care was distributing the spray tan.

Female students were seen walking into the library carrying numerous boxes of the product.

Each box contains six cans of spray tan.

At the time Salient went to print, it was not known where the spray tan came from.

It could not be determined if the spray tan was of the same brand that was delivered in large quantities to VUWSA for Orientation last year.

It is understood that the surplus spray tan is still in storage at VUWSA.

Salient last year acquired several boxes of the product.

A Salient staff member, who refuses to be named, applied the spray tan three times daily, for about a fortnight.

“The tanning spray made the office reek, so I used to have to go into the stairwell and apply it, so Jackson wouldn’t complain,” she says.

“My legs got quite brown, but I decided it was time to stop when the top half of my body was a totally contrasting colour to my legs.”
