Comedy Fest Errata with your pal Uther!

Jen from the Improv Divas yelled at me for not mentioning them in the last issue. Jen is scary. So, you should all go see their show. It’s on at BATS from the 11th to the 15th of May at 6.30pm for $16/$13. You should go. Else I fear Jen will assault me. I do not like violence.

Sammy J and Randy in Rickett’s Lane (from the people who brought the delightfully ribtickling Sammy J in the Forest of Dreams) is on at Downstage from the 4 – 8 of May. And rather awesomely they are offering two-for-one tickets to students (that’s most of you!) for one of their performances! Check the Salient website for the exact day. Cheap tickets are good!

Also, wah wah wah The Giant Face wah wah wah. (BATS, 11 – 15 May, 9.30pm).

Jetlagged is on at Club Ivy 12 – 15th May. It’s the cheapest show in the Fringe ($10) and they seem like cool people.

: When my mother gave me my name, it was a name she couldn’t pronounce. The harsh accents of the Arabic language eluded the Pākehā tongue. Growing up, I always felt more comfortable introducing myself as she knew me—Mah-dee or Ma-ha-dee—just about anything that made me feel
