Wellington Comedy Club Double Header Show
What do Arabs do on September 11? Play doublestack Jenga! And inevitably Ibrahim (the funny one) will get out the jelly jet planes for laffs. That is, according to Noor Razzak at San Fran Bathhouse’s Double Header comedy show. Razzak also showed us some family clips to demonstrate what it’s like to grow up with a moustache, and explained how his parents would selectively read his school reports to get as angry at him as possible.
The second part of the Double Header, Benjamin Crellin, explained that his bald dome leads the folks of Hawke’s Bay to think he’s a skinhead, whereas here in Wellington we all think he’s a Buddhist monk. Both Crellin and Razzak took some time to warm to their audience, and perhaps Crellin crossed the line while discussing how to pick up chicks from the women’s refuge. But he did explain to us why gay pride parades are boring – since only dicks get offended – whereas a poo pride parade would be deliciously messy.
