NetGuide Awards

Drunk with power—and scotch—from our nomination for Best Website in the Qantas Media Awards, Salient has reached the reckoning that with your help we can pull in a few more awards!

150x300

The NetGuide awards are your chance to recognise the bestus websites that you use. We’d like to think we have a pretty awesome website. Definitely better than stuff.co.nz at the very very least.

Salient fits into pretty much every category on the voting list—we’re that diverse. So vote til your wrist develops RSI and the Salient logo is permanently emblazoned onto your retinas.

Salient – I recently killed my flatmate and am looking to transfer all their money into my account. I have their password and their account number, but I need to do it in such a way that the authorities don’t pick up on it.

Seeing as how this site is in the running for Best Financial Site at the NetGuide Awards, can you provide me with financial advice on how to transfer the funds successfully while avoiding detection?

Salient recommends setting up a series of shell companies—name them something trustworthy, like Enron or AIG—make all the paperwork say your now deceased flatmate was a managing director.

Funnel the money back into the shell companies all at once. If the authorities find out, claim he was embezzling funds and you’re rightfully reclaiming company assets. Since he’s dead he won’t get into any legal problems.

Please make a cheque to the value of 10% of your earnings off this business venture out to Salient.
