I manage a major scholarship programme for the dairy industry. Currently DairyNZ is funding 52 full-time recipients at Lincoln and Massey Universities. 116 recipients have graduated from the programme which began in 2001. We have had a recipient from Feilding High School who is now a rural bank manager with close links to the dairy industry. All our recipients are supported and mentored through their studies, and all are required to promote the industry and the programme in thier schools.
