Usually said when one is appreciative of a person or thing or kaupapa. Though it has also been used in occasions when one is at loss for words during an awkward silence following a suggestion. Like in meetings.

“Sooooooooooooooo…what are YOU up to?”
Usually used as a way of finding out what a person is up to. However, it is also used as a starting conversation for not what the person is doing, but what they will be doing due to the approaching demand of the person who asked the question.

“Churp.”
Usually used as confirmation of a request, suggestion or recommendation. However, it can also be used as a non-committal response or in lieu of ‘chur’.
Taawhana Chadwick (ex-Āpiha Pāpāho)
“Love you long time!”
Usually said affectionately as parting words. However, it can also be used as parting words in a manner of fobbing off responsibility to
someone else.
