Last week’s Uni Snow Games in Wanaka were dominated by South Island universities, with Vic yet to place at time of print on Thursday. Team Manager Brent Hayward told Salient, “everyone’s having an awesome time. The team’s been performing well. Hopefully we beat Massey Wellington. That was one of our goals.”

“Our 3 goals were to beat Massey Wellington, win a medal and to win the boat race. We failed to win the boat race and haven’t got a medal yet, but we should beat Massey Wellington. One out of three ain’t bad. We’re having a good time and lots of people are coming back next year.”
